ISI held an international forum on sustainable development through regional and local authorities

The Institute for Social Integration, together with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, held an international discussion forum on "Regional Governments at the Heart of the Global Agenda 2030 - Synergies and Challenges Ahead". Participants in the forum were municipal councilors and mayors from Bulgaria, Romania, Germany and Croatia.

The opening part of the event was attended by Katya Koleva, Chairman of ISI Board, Regine Schubert, Director of Friedrich Ebert Foundation, Bulgarian office and Vladimir Moskov, Mayor of Gotse Delchev town and a member of the Board of NAMRB.

The forum was also attended by Kaloyan Pargov, Chairman of the Advisory Group at the Sofia Municipal Council, Diana Kovacheva, Vice-Ombudsman of the Republic of Bulgaria, Sabine Smentek, State Secretary for Information, Technology and Communication in the Senate for Interior and Sports in Berlin and Anton Kutev, Chairman of the Commission on Interaction with Non-Governmental Organizations and Citizens' Complaints to the 44th National Assembly.

Moderator of the event was Stefan Georgiev, member of ISI Board.
