Dear friends,
During our working meeting in Sofia, which took place on 22 November 2007, the Institute for Social Integration accepted to draw up and propose to the Network a common position paper on the topic “Europe in the world” for the PES Manifesto Consultation Process.
In the period between December 2007 and February 2008 ISI organised three working meetings on the topic. Our working group drew up a draft policy paper as a basic document for discussion, which was sent to you for proposals for supplements and amendments. The Institute together with the Bulgarian Socialist party was a co-organiser of a national round table, in which many prominent Bulgarian politicians including Prime Minister Mr. Sergei Stanishev participated.
Now, that we are in the final phase of the policy paper elaboration process, I have the pleasure to invite you to a round table, that will take place on 29 March in Sofia.
