Active government policy and the eager participation of the civil society

In her interview for Blagoevgrad Radio Katya Koleva, chairwoman of the Executive Board of The Institute for Social Integration, discussed the Institute’s initiative to analyze the various policies for economic development in Bulgaria.

Mrs. Koleva emphasized the most important conclusion, which has been reached by the expert committee, and that is the rule of law. According to the participants in the round table this can be achieved only through active government policy and the eager participation of the civil society.

Apart from the analysis the committee made a number of proposals and recommendations. The purpose of this session was to provoke an open discussion on the topic with the involvement of representatives from The Ministry of Finance, Government, business sector and various NGOs.
